Inexpensive Crochet kits on Amazon!

I caught the crochet bug last month and my Amazon orders are showing it! Here is a list of inexpensive crochet kits I’ve gotten (many I found through the Salesaholic group on Facebook), which average around $4-5 though the Faircosy one was a little more at $7.49 – and I think the yarn is a little better. There are no affiliate links on this page, I just really like crochet kits! The deals I got were temporary and the kits are more expensive or unavailable now:

DMERBYL Christmas Crochet Kit for Beginners, Cute Santa Claus and Moose Crochet Crafts

This first kit kickstarted my interest in crocheting again, it was only $4 and contained everything I needed to make a Santa and a reindeer. I’ve already used some of the Santa yarn and stuffing for Little Twin Stars, and I plan to make Deery Lou from Mei Li Lee’s Hello Kitty Crochet book.

I wasn’t planning to get this kit because the cats look too much like mice, but it was hard to resist for only $4 and I ended up using the black yarn for Kuromi.

At $7.49, this is the most expensive kit with patterns that I got, but it also came with scissors and I used the blue yarn for Kiki’s hair. I might still make these patterns since I have plenty of yarn still.

This last kit wins the most like The Woobles award.  The Woobles, to me, are way too expensive to justify getting, $40-45 for one Hello Kitty, My Melody, or Cinnamoroll? This kit was $4.49 and has similar yarn, pre-started loops and video tutorials.

Not counting the kit I’m planning to return, these kits totaled about $30.20 before tax – which is still a lot less than one Woobles kit! The average cost was about $3.78 each and I have already started to make so many cute things! These kits might not be as beginner-friendly as The Woobles, but they are a much better deal. In addition to all these kits, I got another great deal (under $10) on this one that came with 16 mini skeins of yarn, crochet hooks, and accessories:

I clearly don’t believe less is more, but I guess it’s possible to have too much of a good thing! I have to return a few things I changed my mind about – either it was too expensive or not worth my time. I already have a list of 10 projects I want to start, so I can see why people try to turn crochet into a business.
