San Francisco Sample Itinerary

San Francisco is full of interesting and unique places to visit and explore. The variety of the city by the bay is enormous. Tourists are commonly found at such popular attractions as:

The Golden Gate Bridge - the iconic suspension bridge Fisherman’s Wharf/Pier 39 - where clam chowder is all over Lombard Street, a. k. a. the Windiest Street Ever Made

Art lovers have numerous museums to choose from including the Palace of Fine Arts, The Legion of Honor, and the Museum of Modern Art. There’s even a Cartoon Art Museum, not to mention numerous local galleries.

Music lovers also have numerous places to choose from including the Haight District and Amoeba Records (one of the best record stores ever), the Fillmore Auditorium (still a popular destination for the world’s best music), plus many other venues, clubs, and independent record stores.

Restaurants are as varied as the cultures that the City is known for, such as Chinatown, Little Italy (North Beach), Japantown, and the Mission District. Nightlife, theaters, bars, and shopping make San Francisco an ideal place to live and visit.

The abundance of public transportation makes getting around fairly easy, and there's always something going on somewhere in San Francisco at any time of the week. The weather is nice and cool most of the year.
